The Chalet

Originally an Alpine farmhouse, Chalet des Cimes was converted into delightful accommodation just 10 years ago. Located in the charming little hamlet of Montalbert, in the region of Sainte Foy Tarentaise in the French Alps.

The chalet boasts absolutely stunning and uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains and the valley below, that will keep you mesmerised for hours.

Enter into the chalet through a large hallway complete with ample space to store all your gear, be it hiking boots or skis.  Complete with drying room for ski boots. Take the stairs up to the;

Open Plan Living / Dining Room

An exceptionally large but homely living and dining room with exposed beams & traditional stone complete with a wood burning fire and uninterrupted views across the valley through triple aspect floor to ceiling windows.  Large comfortable sofas placed around the wood burning stove, seperate TV area with flexible seating area and dining space to seat up to 12 people.

There is underfloor heating throughout along with all the necessary mod cons like TV, DVD, Wifi, bluetooth speakers etc.

There is also a chest full of board games. Baby equipment is available on request.


Above the kitchen is a mezzanine level, complete with beanbags, cushions & a TV/DVD player perfect for getting comfy and watching a film.


Large fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cater for your stay.  A friendly open hatch onto the dining area ensures even the chef can enjoy a social gathering whilst cooking.


Chalet des Cimes can sleep up to a total of 12 people in 6 bedrooms.  The bedrooms are clean, cosy and each with their own en-suite bathroom, underfloor heating and luxurious white crisp bed linen.

Upper Balcony

Large wrap around decked balcony complete with two hammocks, dining area and gas BBQ.  Enjoy drinks alfresco, relax in the hammock to read a book or simply enjoy the view.

Outside Terrace 

There is a double terrace area outside accessible via the hallway or downstairs bedrooms with hot tub, seating area wrapped around an open fire pit and, pizza oven with large seating and dining area on the lower terrace, all with stunning views across the valley.

Take a soak in the hot tub and rest those weary limbs (ideally with a beer or glass of champagne!) after a hard day on the slopes. Or on a chilly summers evening sit around the open fire pit toasting marshmallows!
